Highlife music star, Flavour has been shooting videos for songs in his new album “Ijele- TheTraveller” in the United Kingdom. Recently, he was in London where he filmed the music video for his hit single, “Sake of love” which tells a story of love and betrayal.
For this production photographed by Michael Tubes, Flavour collaborated with award winning video director, Sesan Ogunro who has worked with African music stars from Dbanj to Wizkid. and featuring Ghana’s most popular rapper,
Yet again, Flavour teams up with Ghanaian rapper, Sakordie in the video with a nice cameo appearance from popular British African comedian, Eddie Kadi.
As reported by @michaeltubescreations who was also present at the shoot to capture behind the scenes moment: “During Flavour’s video shoot of ‘Sake of Love’, there is a scene in the video where Flavour breaks a bottle on Eddie Kadi’s head but I didnt see it coming so it felt like Flavour broke the bottle on Eddie Kadi’s head with FULL force and thought he was badly injured 🤕 because Eddie was rolling on the floor and acting like he was in serious pain. As a good actor, Eddie Kadi was only acting his role.”
This is Flavour’s fifth album which he names after one of the rarest and biggest masquerades in Igbo culture. “The album title, reflects my journey as a musician metaphorically. As a musician, I’ve transformed, evolved and transcended within my music and social responsibilities, and I am proud to share this journey with my fans and listeners far and wide. Music is in my blood, it’s all I know. Music is my life,” Flavour says.
