Several hours to their game,  the Super Eagles have received a major morale booster with the news that Nigerian telecommunications magnate, Dr Mike Adenuga Jnr, through the Sports Minister Hon Tammy Danagogo, has sent the sum of $250,000 (over N41m) as an incentive for the players to step up their game and conquer Les Blues of France later this evening.

“He (Adenuga) said this is a token and if the team goes ahead and shocks the world, he will join Mr President to shock the team” the Minister told the thrilled players and their officials at their camp in Brasilia.

Aside the money already delivered, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, on Sunday also boosted the spirit of the national team, the Super Eagles, by informing them that all their outstanding Brazil 2014 World Cup appearance fee have been ordered cleared by the Sports Minister.

A win from the Super Eagles against France will earn them a spot in the quarter finals of the 2014  World Cup in Brazil.
