World Cup: Nigerian and Algerian goalkeepers make top 10 list

Less than a week to the end of the 2014 World Cup Competition- one marked by several shocking defeats and a classic case of the rise of the under achievers- The Guardian Sports has made a list of the top 10 goalkeepers in Brazil for the 2014 World Cup.  Though our African teams are out, two African goal keepers made the list, they are: Nigeria’s Vincent Enyeama in 4th place and Algeria’s Rais M’Bolhi in 7th place. Early exit: Ghanaian duo, Boateng and Muntari, sent home from World Cup

Ghanaian Forward Kevin Prince Boateng and Midfielder Sulley Muntari, have been asked to leave Brazil, the venue for the World Cup, due to indiscipline.

According to reports, Muntari slapped Moses Armah Parker, a management committee member, after a slight misunderstanding.

Also, reports from the camp say that Boateng and coach Kwasi Appiah had a clash during a training session.

Following this, the duo will miss the final group game tonight against Portugal, with Ghana needing all three points in this encounter in order to join Nigeria in the second round.
