Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, popularly known as “Teni the Entertainer” has hit fifty million streams with her debut album released March 19, 2021.

The seventeen-track album, “Wondaland” had hit songs like “For You”, which featured record label boss Davido, and has been topping charts in Nigeria and across Africa.

The Wondaland album has been Teni’s most anticipated body of work since she announced she had begun work on it. So, reaching 50 million streams is a feat worth popping drinks for.

In her excitement, Teni took to Instagram to appreciate listeners/streamers and for the positive reception the project has received.

Teni has, indeed, shown herself a hardworking talent and her art tells this story effectively. So, when we remember her 2019 EP, “Billionaire” and the other EP released in 2020, in the heat of the lockdown, “Quarantine Playlist,” you would expect “Wondaland” to get the numbers.

Teni has undoubtedly risen to become one of Nigeria’s biggest artists in just five years with several nominations and awards from The Headies Awards, Soundcity MVP Awards, and featured in other outstanding projects locally and internationally.

Teni is also listed on the Y! Africa most inspiring youths in the continent.
