Queen Baboloki Kgeresi has over eleven years of experience working on women and youth issues, with particular attention on education and empowerment of girls.

1.Queen Kgeresi is the Founder of the Dream Hub Project, an initiative that supports youth and marginalised groups including survivors of gender-based violence (GBV).The organisation’s holistic intervention includes a platform for inter-generational dialogue and mentorship, psychological support and counseling as well as job skills training to help participants pursue their dreams.
2. She was The Future Awards Africa Prize winner in Advocacy & Activism 2015.
3. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Botswana.
4. She has been the Student Welfare and Support Officer at BA ISAGO University College where she counsels students on psycho-social issues, mentors them to promote hope and empowerment, and teaches life skills.
5. Queen Kgeresi was a speaker at the One Young World Summit 2018 in The Hague, Netherlands, where the Young Leaders Against Sexual Violence (YLASV) was launched – a group of young leaders who demonstrate a strong personal or professional commitment and significant expertise in addressing sexual and gender-based violence in their communities and around the world.
6. She once said, “Don’t allow anyone tell you (especially coming from a ‘woman’ angle) that you should not do anything you want to do.”
7. She is a Fellow of YouthActionNet, a signature initiative of the International Youth Foundation.

Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship program, Queen revealed plans to complete a variety of projects including: establishing a one-stop safe house in Botswana; providing empowerment workshops for young women, girls, and youth; promoting equal access of employment for youth by providing trainings in entrepreneurship, business management, and functional literacy; as well as support the formation of a grassroots girls club that provides peer support.
9. The 30-year-old is a 2013 Fellow of the Moremi Initiative for Leadership and Empowerment Development (MILEAD).
