2020 looks good for African Startups already. There is a fundraising trend and global investors are taking note. In 2019, funds raised for African ventures (about ninety companies raised over a million dollars) reached $725.6 million, an upgrade from nearly $500 million in 2018.
Goldman Sachs isn’t watching from afar as African Startups mature. And large corporate venture arms and sovereign wealth funds are also beginning to cycle.
