The Libyan 2014 polls which ended yesterday, were marred by low turnout and deadly violence. Reports from BBC say many polling booths have been left empty.

US government may evacuate US workers from Libya, due to crisis

The US government is putting military assets into place in order to be prepared for the possible removal of Americans from Libya, due to a political crisis that threatens to touch off a new wave of violence in the unstable country. Officials say they are yet to decide whether to move U.S. personnel, particularly those at the U.S Embassy in Tripoli, out of Libya.
